Consequences is a brutal and incredibly visceral account of toxic masculinity and manipulation, and an unlikely portrait of queer youth in Slovenia. It is intense, powerful and erotic, delicately depicting it’s extreme subject matter in an honest and incredibly realistic way, and is one of the strongest foreign language dramas I have seen this year.
